Dispensing Pharmacies

Prescriptions written by your provider are dispensed by VSDH (VS Digital Health), a network of state-licensed U.S. pharmacies. Restorify Health is a telehealth platform. It is not a pharmacy and does not compound, manufacture or dispense medication.

Pharmacy Licensure

Each dispensing pharmacy is licensed by the board of pharmacy in its home state and in every state it ships to.

Compounding Pharmacies and 503A / 503B Status

Compounded medications are prepared for you individually under a patient-specific prescription. The name and license details of the pharmacy that fills your prescription appear on your prescription label and are available on request.

How a Prescription Is Routed

If your provider approves treatment, the prescription is sent electronically to the dispensing pharmacy, which verifies it, prepares it and ships it to you.

Your Right to Choose a Pharmacy

You may ask your provider to send an FDA-approved prescription to a pharmacy of your choice. Compounded preparations can only be filled by a pharmacy able to compound them.

Compounded Preparations Are Not FDA-Approved

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality. A provider prescribes a compounded medication only when they determine it is appropriate for you.

Product Sourcing and Quality

Pharmacies source ingredients from FDA-registered suppliers and follow U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) compounding standards as required by state law.

Pharmacy Counseling

You can ask the dispensing pharmacy’s pharmacist questions about your medication. Contact details are on your prescription label.

Adverse Event Reporting

Report side effects to your provider and to the FDA MedWatch program at fda.gov/medwatch or 1-800-FDA-1088. In an emergency, call 911.
